We are proud to announce the winners of the 2016 FLEX alumni photo and video contest. A team of judges from the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs chose their top three choices for excellent pictures and videos that depict the essence of the FLEX Alumni programs. A Popular Choice Award is awarded to the picture/video that receives the most likes on Facebook Alumni Photo Contest album as of 11:59 PM EST Tuesday August 31st, 2016.
Here are the winners of 2016 photo & video contest 2016.
- Best Picture: “Jump To the bright future!” by Anastasiya Potakova ’15, FLEX alumna Ukraine
- Second best picture: “Connecting our youth, building our future.” by Violeta Milanovic ’15, FLEX alumna Serbia
- Alumni choice award: “FLEX Halloween Party 2015” by Igor Kyryliuk ’11, FLEX alumnus Ukraine
- Best video: “Aspire to inspire: quit smoking”,by Bibinur Zhamaliddenova, FLEX Alumna Kazakhstan
- Honorable mention: “Everyday is a Global Youth Service Day for FLEX Alumni.” by Aila Baizhomartova, FLEX Alumna Kazakhstan.
