Over 40 FLEX alumni living in Moscow, Russia attended a movie screening of the environmental documentary movie Chasing Ice in celebration of Global Youth Service Day. Alumni utilized a new type of meeting space – an anti-cafe, where patrons can bring their own supplies, food, and drinks and only pay a few roubles per minute for the time they spend there. Following the movie, alumni shared their interest in ecology and discussed ideas for alumni activities, personal projects, volunteer opportunities, and life successes updates.
