You’ve got questions about AEIF 2015, and we’ve got answers! The competition launches on February 3, 2015. The State Department created the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) in 2011 to support alumni initiatives that promote shared values and innovative solutions to global challenges. The competition provides small grants to teams of past and current participants of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs to carry out public service projects.
On February 5 at 8 am ET, we’re hosting a Facebook Q&A about the first phase of the competition. Bring questions about how to form a team and create amazing proposals. Not available on the 5th? Join us on February 18th at 1 pm ET for another chance to ask your questions.
Looking for AEIF team members? Remember, to form a team, you need five registered exchange alumni members of the International Exchange Alumni (IEA) global online community. You can log-in and search the directory on alumni.state.gov, and/or post a message below to connect with alumni who might be interested in joining your team.
