The 50 Stars program is a series of educational presentations about the states of America. It takes place at 7 PM every Thursday throughout the spring semester (January 29 – May 21, 2015) at the Baku American Center (BAC) located at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (134 R. Behbudov str.) The BAC was founded in 2007 as a result of a successful partnership between the Embassy and the University.
The audience for the whole series of lectures will be a constant group of pre-selected individuals. The candidates are chosen based on their interest and English language level; there is no limit in age or occupation specified. We anticipate the majority will be students from various Baku universities.
At the end of the program the participants with 80% attendance will be awarded certificates of participation.
