On August 15, in Kyiv, Ukraine six alumni volunteered and attended the training event focused on the interaction and cooperation between the public sector and the media by Petro Kulinets, the Editor-in-Chief on the Editorial Board for Politics and Society News of Ukrainian national news agency Ukrinform. After sharing the historical background on the relationship between public sector and media, Mr. Kulinets gave participants an overview of how to improve interaction between media and community activists, how to spread ideas efficiently, and how to alert the public and media about events and opportunities. Eighteen alumni and community members attended the event.
