Sixty alumni in Kazakhstan held lemonade stands in July and August to raise money to cover surgery costs for a nine-year old girl diagnosed with a brain tumor. Alumni raised over $3,000 through the events and received significant community support, in the form of in-kind support and venues from local organizations and businesses interested in supporting the cause. Lemonade sale was organizes in following cities of Kazakhstan: Aktau, Aktobe, Almaty, Karaganda, Kostanay, Semey,and Uralsk.
