Peace Corps Alumni Networking Event was held in Baku on January 27. The U.S. Embassy and the Peace Corps office organized the second annual Peace Corps-Alumni Networking Reception at the Ambassador Hotel.  The eight alumni in attendance met with forty Peace Corps volunteers from different regions of Azerbaijan to brainstorm ideas for future partnerships and joint projects.  Participants also took part in icebreakers and team activities.

IREX Azerbaijan and the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan organized a speed networking event for U.S. educated alumni on January 29 at the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy. The purpose of the event was to establish initial contact and open the door for future project collaboration between alumni of various U.S. Government sponsored exchange programs.  Older alumni shared professional expertise, career advice, and industry knowledge and all participants engaged in organized mixers to interact with other alumni attending the event.  Seventeen FLEX alumni attended the event.
