In Arkhangelsk, Russia on September 12, Arkhangelsk City Representative Yevgeniy Lapin ’13 supported by four alumni from Arkhangelsk and Severodvinsk organized the project Save a Book, a project funded by the FLEX $20 Challenge competition. In cooperation with Arkhangelsk American Corner and the Dobrolyuv Public Library alumni arranged an outdoor book exchange. Community members brought their old books and exchanged them for new ones. The alumni conducted literature quizzes with the visitors and gave interviews to the Pomoriestate television and radio station, the regional newspapers Pravda Severaand Dvina-Inform.
