On September 7, Koryazhma, Russia City Representative Kristina Savchuk ’13 held a beach clean up event with over 20 community members with the financial support of the FLEX $20 Challenge competition. Volunteers collected over 300 liters of trash and were interviewed by the Trudovaya Koryazhmacity newspaper. Following the event participants enjoyed a picnic.
